What to Expect

We understand that visiting a church for the first time can bring questions and uncertainty. At Shekinah Christian Assembly, our desire is to provide a place where you can encounter Christ, be strengthened by His Word, and experience the fellowship of believers.

A Christ-Centered Gathering

Our worship services are focused on Jesus Christ and grounded in Scripture. You can expect a service that includes worship, prayer, biblical teaching and a Spirit-filled atmosphere.

Worship

Worship is offered as an act of devotion and reverence to the Lord. Through music and praise, we come together to honor God and reflect on His goodness. Whether expressed quietly or joyfully, worship is a time to draw near to Him.

Teaching from Scripture

Biblical teaching is central to our services. Messages are rooted in the Word of God and are meant to encourage spiritual growth, understanding, and faithful living. We believe Scripture equips us for daily life and draws us closer to Christ.

Prayer

Prayer is an essential part of our church life. During our services, there may be moments of corporate prayer, as well as opportunities for individual prayer. We believe God hears the prayers of His people and meets us with grace, comfort, and direction.

The Atmosphere

Shekinah Christian Assembly is a Spirit-filled church with a peaceful and welcoming environment. We believe the Spirit of God is present among His people, and we invite you to participate at a level that feels comfortable for you.

What to Wear

There is no dress code. You will see a variety of attire, from traditional to casual. We encourage you to come as you are and focus on worship rather than appearance.

Children and Families

Families are welcome and valued. We seek to create a safe and supportive environment where children and young people can grow in faith. If you have questions about children’s programs, our team will be happy to help.

After the Service

Following the service, there is often time for fellowship and conversation. If you would like prayer, have questions, or wish to speak with a pastor, you are welcome to do so. If you prefer to depart quietly, you are equally welcome.
